Another lovely day for this informal and friendly race. Jane, Phil and son Matt (15) walked the route this time.
The race is organised by the local Lions Club and runners, joggers and walkers all take part.
The start is on the seafront at Seaford, which is beautiful on a sunny day (not bad on a dull day either!) Through fields and a small village before getting onto the South Downs Way and into Alfriston. Stopping for a packed lunch then and back into Seaford itself, around the estuary and up and over the cliffs, meant it took over 4 hours to complete but no-one hurries you. There's a medal for everyone and biscuits/drinks provided by friendly marshals en route.
A wonderful one for all the family to enjoy!
