Two club members braved the hot conditions to run at Giggs Hill Green at Thames Ditton along a flat, multi-terrain course that includes the 3-mile Barge Walk stretch along the River Thames. There was an option to run 8 or 10 miles.
Joan Andrew opted for the 10-mile route, finishing in 155th position in a time of 01:48:25.
Jeanette Elven took the 8-mile route, finishing in 70th position in a time of 01:29:06.
