This was the 19th year of a traditional Christmas road race of approximately 4.2 miles. It is also known as the Christmas pudding run because all finishers are given a Christmas pudding as they finish. It has always been a popular race for Bromley Veterans. Apologies to those with genuine reasons why they could not enter and run but where were you all?
A field of 484 finished the race, a large number in Christmas costume of some sort for example many father Christmases, elves, rabbits and shepherds. Seven Bromley Vets enjoyed themselves on a freezing cold but sunny morning trying not to slip on icy roads and pavements as the course unwound along country hills and valleys. Well done to our club finishers
